Annemarie Hoffmann (Germany) is both author and painter. The core element of her paintings are trees. The origin of that goes back to her grandfather who worked in the woods to chop trees in the forest. For every tree her grandfather cutted, she wanted to plant a new one on her canvas. She calls herself a "Baummalerin", a painter of trees. Every painting she makes, whatever subject is may be, it is a composition of trees. The tree is the molecule of her work. The result is an artistic creation of fine painting where the details are a completely different layer than the whole picture. This fascinating combination of a micro and a macro world make her paintings very orignial works of art.
